Thought I'd share my handy trick for storing K-cups in a hanging jewelry organizer! Easy to view all your flavors & keeps them off the counter. Looks cute, too!

Countdown to spring Vacation!
Blair & I are going to Vegas for our One Year Anniversary/Graduation Trip & I decided to make a countdown on the other side of my chalkboard door! Can't wait for our getaway!
Happy Easter!!!!
I have been in on the chalkboard craze for sometime now, & I am so excited about my new chalkboard door! I painted the middle of one of my kitchen doors with chalkboard paint (super easy, by the way) & now I can decorate it for different seasons, etc.! I just love it!

Goodwill Hunting
I went thrifting with my mother-in-law this afternoon & I am super excited to share my Goodwill finds! You never know what you will come across! Today I found this adorable new handbag for $5.99! It has lots of room, a zippered pouch inside, & handy straps for carrying! Too cute!
I also came across these whimsical little yard sticks to go in front of my patio! Very springy & only $3.79 each! |
If you know me, you know I LOVE Halloween & stock up on my decor all year long. I found this new cute little welcome mat which says "Wipe Your Witchy Feet" for $3.95! |

Easter Crafts!
This spring I have been in a super crafty mood! One day while digging through my craft supplies, my eyes fell on these little mason jars & I got the idea for making them into Easter bunnies & chicks! I simply filled the jars with Easter grass, and used hot glue to add my decorations. Aren't they adorable?!
I also decided to make Easter wreaths, after seeing the idea on Pinterest! I just love how they came out!
This is a close up of one of my Easter bunnies in a jar. They also have little cotton tails in back- so sweet!

Introduction
Hey there! Welcome to my blog! I'm new at this, but I thought I'd start with an introductory post giving a little background on my life. Above is an engagement picture of my hubby (isn't he the cutest!?) & me in the Fort Worth Stockyards. We chose that location because it is where he took me on our very first date. Oh, by the way, I'm Whiskers and he's Meatball. ;) We met registering for summer classes on June 1, 2009, and have been pretty much inseparable ever since! We recently purchased our first house in his hometown of Gainesville, Texas (pics to come!) and stay super busy with home improvement projects. We are both graduating THIS MAY & can't wait to be finished with school so we can focus on our family!
